1. Acceptance of Quotation
The quotation is based on information provided by the customer during surveys, site inspections, telephone calls, WhatsApp communications, emails, or social media inquiries. Any changes to the volume of goods, access conditions, service requirements, or scope of work may result in additional charges.
2. Payment Terms
• 50% advance payment is required upon confirmation of the booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid immediately upon completion of loading or before unloading at the destination.
• The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery until full payment is received.
• The Company reserves the right to suspend, postpone, or withhold services where payments due under the quotation or agreement are not received as agreed.
3. Customer Responsibilities
• Customer-packed items are transported at the customer’s sole risk.
• Customers must ensure access, permits, approvals, elevator bookings, and safe working conditions.
• Children and pets must be kept away from work areas.
• Valuable items such as cash, jewellery, passports, and legal documents should be retained by the customer.
• Additional services outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
4. Packing and Handling
• The Company will use industry-standard packing materials and procedures.
• Furniture dismantling and reassembly will be performed only where included in the quotation.
• The Company is not responsible for damage resulting from the age, condition, or structural weakness of furniture.
5. Building and Property Protection
• The Company will take reasonable precautions to protect common areas.
• Existing damages must be reported before commencement of work.
• The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from pre-existing defects or hidden conditions.
6. Non-Standard Moving Services
Additional labour, equipment, permits, long carrying distances, stair carrying, oversized items, storage, re-delivery, crane lifting, waiting time, and other non-standard services may be subject to additional charges.
• The Company may take photographs for quality control and dispute resolution purposes.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse transportation of hazardous, flammable, explosive, illegal, prohibited, perishable, or dangerous goods.
7. Delays and Access Issues
The Company shall not be liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, weather conditions, government restrictions, building regulations, elevator breakdowns, delayed access, or customer-related issues.
8. Damage Claims and Liability
• The customer or authorised representative must be present during loading, unloading, inspection, and completion of services.
• Any visible loss, damage, or shortage must be reported before the Company’s personnel leave the premises.
• Claims for concealed damage must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
• The Company shall be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and rectify any verified damage.
9. Limitation of Liability
• The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or economic losses.
• The Company’s total liability for any loss or damage shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the relevant services.
• Customers requiring additional protection are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage.
• This limitation shall not apply where prohibited by law or in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Insurance
Unless specifically agreed in writing, the Company’s charges do not include transit, storage, or goods insurance.
11. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in forfeiture of the advance payment. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
12. Storage Services
Storage charges apply as agreed. Goods will not be released until outstanding charges are settled.
13. Service Delays Beyond Company Control
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, UAE.
